THANK YOU – Our latest presentation of the Passion Play has come and
gone, and I would like to congratulate all participants on a job very well
done. It is impossible to calculate how many man-hours were invested in
this project, but I’m sure that if we had kept track of it the hours spent
would number in the thousands. Some have been working for months preparing
sets and costumes. Others had very intense, last-minute jobs setting up
sound and lighting equipment. If you prayed a prayer, hammered a nail,
learned a part, moved a chair, hung a light, picked up a cable, brought a
cookie, handed out a program, served a hot dog, invited a friend, sewed a
costume, stapled a program or had part in one of any number of other
activities necessary to the presentation of the Passion Play, I say,
“Thank you.”
